How To Mine Viacoin VIA Cash Bcc

This is the process for mining with cpuminer. • Got ViaBTC.com and sign up.
• Click the pool tab. Choose BCC Pool. ViaBTC also has Bitcoin (BTC) and Litecoin (LTC) if you want to mine bitcoin cash make sure you choose the BCC and make sure you are in it. Download your choice of miner software.
• Create a worker by choosing the 'Worker' Tab. Give your worker a name. Once you have your software installed for your miner I am using cpuminer 2.5.0 Create abatch file in the same directory where you extracted the cpuminer files. This is easy to do. Use Notepad or a similar simple text program to make the file. Here is a batch file: minerd --algo=sha256d --url=stratum+tcp://bcc.viabtc.com:3333 --userpass=yourminername.anything:pass yourminername - the name using lowercase letters or numbers to create a miner name. Anything = remember to put the period in your batch file and anyything can be after your worker name as long as it is lowercase letters and number.
The:pass is the password and it can be anything as it is not required. There are also two other ports you can use 25 and 443. Their batch files look like this: minerd --algo=sha256d --url=stratum+tcp://bcc.viabtc.com:25 --userpass=yourminername.anything:pass minerd --algo=sha256d --url=stratum+tcp://bcc.viabtc.com:443 --userpass=yourminername.anything:pass Save the text *.txt file by making the all files choice and adding.bat as the extension. You can click on the.bat file to start the program. A better way is to call up a command prompt and change to the directory of your bat file and type it in. This will run the minerd.exe file with the appropriate settings and voila! You are instantly mining Bitcoin Cash!
Get a Wallet! Wallets are available at BitcoinCash.org or as Downloads on GooglePlay (BCC Wallet) You will need a wallet such as Freewallet. I put my wallet on my phone because it uses the least amount of data. Then you get the deposit address from your wallet and put it in autopayouts in the ViaBTC pool area. There are also various mining programs for phones that can be downloaded and since BCC uses sha256d Bitcoin algorithm those will work with the same worker at the same time as say a computer as long as you change the anything part of the parameters for each and every device you run. Difficulty is quite high and there have only been four blocks so far.
