Great thing about this software is that you can mine multiple currencies, the most useful feature of this app is the “ Smart Mining” which means “ Automatic mining of the currency that has the highest exchange rate during the last hour. Personal Widget – actual mining speed!

(usually running 2 cpu cores only, no gpu) Here is a quick MinerGate review / tutorial! • CPU & GPU Miner • WEB Miner • Mobile Miner MinerGate is a mining pool created by a group of cryptocoin enthusiasts. It is the first pool which provides service for merged mining.

This means that while mining on MinerGate you can mine different coins simultaneously without decrease of hashrate for major coin. The fees are between 1% and 1.5%. MinerGate is available on Windows, Mac, Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora) Coins mined by MinerGate Ethereum (ETH), Ethereum Classic (ETC), ZCash (ZEC), Monero (XMR), Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), Bytecoin (BCN), FantomCoin (FCN), QuazarCoin (QCN), DigitalNote (XDN), MonetaVerde (MCN), Dashcoin (DSH), Aeoncoin (ANN), Infinium-8 (INF8). • CPU: i73610QM 2.30GHz – 8 cores • GPU: GeForce GTX 670M 3GB • RAM16 GB 1 First of all go to website and create an account then, go to download page and select the version that suits your operating system. 2 Once downloaded and installed, start and the login page will be prompted, to login enter email and password that you have used in the previous step. 3 When logged in, as default, MinerGate will open to “ Smart Mining” page.

Crypto Mining Blog. All About BTC. Bytecoin (BCN), DashCoin (DSH. So you need to use the version compiled by the author of the miner software and it is only.

Do not click “ Start smart mining” yet! Before to start the mining process, MinerGate has a benchmark feature where you can find how good is your CPU and GPU for mining, is not that important but is nice to see how good is your system. Start the benchmark! 4 Now that the benchmark is done go to “ Miner“, there you will see all the coins that can be mined. You can start mining by clicking the “ Play” button on each coin.

Another great feature is that you can mine multiple coins at the same time:), you can split CPU cores for 2-3 coins, for GPU you can select more instances only if you have more than 1 GPU. But ill suggest you to use the “ Smart Miner“, this is an automatic mining feature that will hash the coin that has the highest exchange rate, more profitable. This piece of software is a time saver for who want to mine with personal computer, no more struggling to make dozens of configuration. Install, choose what to mine, hash, everyone is happy!

MinerGate Mobile mining I didn’t had in plans to add this two following features because there is no point to mine on mobile or web mining, but since MinerGate have them let’s take a quick overview! To mine Mobile or Tabled you will need to have an Android system. For this test ill use a Samsung Galaxy S7! Specs: Quad-core (2×2.15 GHz Kryo & 2×1.6 GHz Kryo) Octa-core (4×2.3 GHz Mongoose & 4×1.6 GHz Cortex-A53).

As Ciprian said, Minergate got me started (I’m only into this crypto currency game for 2 days now)(thanks Ciprian – it was this article that got me started). Tried minergate on a windows 7 virtual machine with 48 CPUs and got 600 H/s.

Tried minergate on a Ubuntu on the same host, as a virtual machine and the hashrate improved to 800, That’s a 33% improvement using the same hardware. Next thing I’m going to try is to load Ubuntu straight onto the hardware and not virtualise it – should give another 30% increase as there is no hypervisor in between which is reserving CPU cycles for it self. The thing that I find sort of misleading about Minergate, is on the machine above, the benchmark rates the machine as 3 stars and about 7 times better than the average computer on Minergate. This makes it sound great, but actually the hashrate (for me as a newbie sounds pretty low ) and at this rate it will take me a 36 days to mine one Minero 🙁 Does not even pay for the electricity the server gobbled up in that time. In other words, Minergate gives the newbie a false sense of performance. The sad thing is that they also trick the affiliate users, before the major update i had like 100+ or 200+ users signed up with my affiliate id, and this was months ago.

I guess now those are much more than that. Even tho every time i check i see “0 affiliates are mining for you now!” which is very hard to believe it. Also i was able to see all users signed with my affiliate link, now i have no data about them, they hide it.

They stoped answering to my emails once i asked about this matter. So basically they are confirming this. Ill update the article soon and will try to make people to avoid them. They don’t play fair at all.

Their system looks very good.
